Hi, I’m Zach Valenti - creator of Summit Socials.
To break the ice here’s a little bit about me and my journey
What are some of your hobbies?
Apart from my passion for social media management, i have a lot of other hobbies to manage. First and most important is that i am a creative by nature. I LOVE music and i spend a chunk of my time producing electronic music which i then release on Spotify. Secondly, i’ve been playing soccer for 17 years and counting for Bell Park (loyal to a fault) and thats my pride and joy.
Apart from those, i clearly love travelling, camping, hiking, road trips and spending as much time as possible with the friends and family that i love.
What is your journey into social media management and digital marketing.
My journey into this industry all started in 2021 because my initial career endeavours in the music industry did not pan out exactly how i planned due to covid. I was an event coordinator for a nightclub at Crown Casino and was unfortunately made redundant after some time. A very big part of that role was social media management and digital marketing, so when i decided it was time to step into a new career, i had already gained the skill sets and knowledge to move into the marketing industry.
I then moved into a hybrid digital role at Cygnett for two years where i sat next to extremely talented people in eCommerce, Marketing and Customer Service. This is where i gained a deep understanding of the industry as a whole and learnt a lot from incredibly talented people.
I’ve always wanted to take after my dad and run my own business, so this is a culmination of everything ive learnt in one!
